Milk & Honey Epoxy Grout — Customer & Technician Safety Sheet

SAFETY FIRST

Milk & Honey is a two-part chemical system. Part A and especially Part B can irritate or damage skin and eyes, and Part B may cause allergic or breathing reactions. Avoid direct contact and breathing vapors or mist.

Before You Start

Wear chemical-resistant gloves: Nitrile, butyl rubber, Neoprene, or PVC gloves are identified in the SDS as suitable options.

Wear eye protection : Use splash-proof goggles or safety glasses with side shields.

Use good ventilation: Work outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Do not breathe vapors or mist.

Use respiratory protection when required: The SDS calls for an appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate or a risk assessment indicates one is necessary. Follow your workplace respiratory-protection program.

Wear appropriate work clothing  that protects exposed skin.

What to Expect

Part A has a mild odor. Part B has an ammoniacal odor.

A noticeable odor may be present during handling.

Keep containers closed when not in use and reseal them carefully after dispensing.

Avoid skin and eye contact. Part B can cause serious eye damage and may cause skin irritation or allergic skin reactions.

Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling the product.

Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Mixing & Use

Measure and mix carefully. Follow the Elite Grout application instructions for the correct Part A / Part B ratio.

Do not mix large masses of Part A and Part B at once. Epoxy resin and hardener can react and generate significant heat; uncontrolled large-mass mixing may result in heat and smoke.

Keep the work area clean and prevent spills from entering drains, soil, waterways, or other areas where they could cause contamination.

If Exposure Occurs

Eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and get medical attention immediately, especially for Part B exposure.

Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and flush with plenty of water. Seek medical attention if irritation or other symptoms occur.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Seek medical attention if breathing difficulty, wheezing, or other symptoms occur.

Swallowed: Get medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel.
